Battery Problem

My phone seems to zap my battery way too fast that my previous smart phones. I find it very troublesome, though I am not keen in getting a spare battery since I am planning to upgrade my phone already. My friend told me to get a universal battery charger so that even when I am on the road, I could still charge it at cafes and bistros, when I get my food.

It is a good idea, but which brand to buy? I am so busy moving around, I don't even have time to go shopping. I should have gotten one when I was in Lowyat yesterday! And today, I am going home already.

Travelling Again

Yes, I am on the road once again but will be home today. I had planned not to move so much from mid-November onwards but I have a lot to do and it is very tiring going up and down but something great came out and I had to go.

And so, November sees me going to KL two times. I better stay put in the next three months because there will be plenty of activities in Ipoh for the next three months!

Chinese New Year comes early, in late Janauary. That will be a most busy time and then there’s hockey, which I must go! After that, we shall see. Looking forward to greater things to come!

Preparing For The Cold

My friend told me that his trip to South America thus far has been extremely exciting. It's quite shocking that the cities that he visited are all a few thousand meters above sea level. That must be very cold! However, he says that's not so bad. If it were me, I would be needing north face jackets every already!

I wish that one day, I too can travel as extensively as him. After South America, it’s New Zealand and then Ipoh, Malaysia, again. I don't know how he could financially support his travels. I must get that secret from him!

Playing Catch Up

My, it's been ten days since I updated my blog here and I had been busy just as long. Even today, I am pushing myself to complete everything before the weekend starts again. And once more, the weekend starts early for me.

I have to say, despite being so, so busy and luckily, enjoying what I do, I do wish that my financial rewards are better. I don't know how long more I can go like this, I know that I just have to keep doing and soon, I will be able to 'see' where this all will lead me.

This weekend sees me going to the capital city again. Have no idea if I will leave on Sunday or Monday but I will have to be back on Tuesday. Have an appointment on Wednesday in Ipoh, you see. So, really tight schedule and if you don't hear from me here in the next few days, DO NOT BE ALARMED! Teehee!

Actos

I have been reading quite a lot about Actos lately. It is a medication prescribed to patients who suffer from diabetes. Unfortunately, it increases the risk of heart disease, or worse, even bladder cancer.

It is said that if a patient of bladder cancer who does not smoke and had been taking Actos, he or she is likely to suffer from bladder cancer BECAUSE of Actos. It means it is time to look for actos cancer lawyers!

I find it ironic that a medication that is supposed to cure us causes us to be even worse off. I think justice should be sought for patients who are affected such. But of course, one would need expert lawyers to help fight their case for them!

Working Too Hard!

My friends think that I work too hard. I know they are right; this has been going on for about five years now. But I guess for all the years that I spent lepaking, not doing anything productive at all, it is time for me to make up for all the lost time while I still can! When I am old, I don't want to be still working to put food on the table. I want to be able to retire early, which means I have to work even harder right now when I can.

I know that I have neglected a lot of friends, but you know, it's a sacrifice to me. When I am down and out, nobody will care about me, except myself. I can only depend on myself. This is what I think, perhaps I have yet to meet someone who selflessly helps me without wanting something in return. This is not to say I do not have close friends. I do, just that I believe in myself more than any other person.

Mole Removal Again

It's mole removal time again this Wednesday. Ah, no matter how many times I had it done, I am still afraid of the pain! Yes, it is painful when the doctor injects me with local anesthesia. I wonder why he does not spray me first with the anesthesia spray before poking me with the needle.

It is stressful! But what to do? This is something that I have to go through with... no matter how chicken I am. Ah, the suffering I go through, not because of beauty. I am not that vain, but because of medical reasons!

But, yay! I get to see the leng chai doctor again. hehehehe

Fine Line Stencil

A friend was telling me about his research on stencils but I had no interest in that. I am not in the business, you see. However, I do know that as technology becomes more advanced, components get smaller and smaller, and it is not easy to produce! I did tell him about a company that I have read about, Fine Line Stencil, the leading manufacturer in quality laser stencils.

They do produce SMT Stencils among other products, which my friend is looking for. This company should be able to meet his demands. With more than 15 years of technical expertise, and their good reputation, I think my friend need not worry about placing an order with Fine Line Stencil.

New Shoes For Me

I bought a new pair of NIKE shoes when I went shopping yesterday. I spoilt my pair of sneakers when I went to cover an event walking on a field that had been savaged by heavy rain. I didn't have time to wash the shoes before leaving for KL and neither did I have time to buy a new pair of shoes. Shoes need a little time to season so it would be a little uncomfortable initially, and everyone would know when someone has a new pair of shoes from the way he/she walks.

I would prefer to shop when I am in Ipoh, although it means limited range of products to choose from. Now, I have even more stuff to carry home. Heavy lah! What to do? I needed it at this point in time and I am not in Ipoh. Bah! I think I got my shoes at a good price, though, even though it may be out of fashion, as a friend said, or it may not last long. Haihhh.... why can't he let me enjoy my new purchase a little??

Guess Whom I Met At MOFEW?

Nah, I don't think you will be able to. She is none other than Amber Chia! Yes, the supermodel! She is so pretty... and so tall! How envious. Although there was an opportunity to take a photo with her, I declined. I just travelled from Ipoh, and I was so ugly and sticky, oily and grimy. Ah, I guess I just felt self-conscious next to her. I did chat with her, though, and she was very friendly. What a lucky day for me!

Again, I am not able to share any photos right now. But just take my word for it. I met Amber Chia and I had the chance to speak to her. She did not have any superstar airs, and all the rumours I heard about her are untrue!

Criminal Law

When I was younger, I thought that all criminals should be punished. Now, I know that not all who are put on trial are criminals because some are just at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Anyway, in Houston, Texas, criminal defense lawyer George Murphy, is a specialist in criminal law, particularly medicaid fraud law and other white collar crime cases. George Murphy has over 20 years of experience in this field and is and expert in dealing with such complex cases.

I may not know of anyone who currently requires such services but it is good to keep in view a person like this!

MOFEW 2011

I was at MOFEW 2011 (Malaysia's Online Fashion Entrepreneurs' Weekend) yesterday at Mid Valley Exhibition Center. It was the third and final day of the event already. I also went last year, and I find that this year's event was even bigger and better, to my delight. I did not buy anything, though, as I did not see anything practical for me. Was looking for bags and shoes but they were too fashionable for me. Hahaha! Prices were pretty good, though.

I took a lot of photos but I can't share any here on my blog as I forgot to bring along my cable for the camera from home so I cannot transfer my photos, unfortunately. That will have to wait till I am home in Ipoh, if I remember! But as I said, I will be busy, so maybe I wouldn't even bother to check my old posts! LOL

In PJ NOW!

Yes, I am in PJ right now, working at my laptop. Had wanted to go out to meet a friend and then go shopping, since today is supposed to be a free day, in between appointments, but I guess not. I better stay in and work. Luckily, the internet connection is good in the condo, ir I would have to go down to the cafeteria to work. I don't mind going down except that it is very noisy downstairs and there are quite a few smoking residents who like to while away their time at the cafeteria. Oh well, this is condo living.

Anyway, tomorrow will be a day of travelling for me. So it will again be a wasted day. It's OK, as long as I complete all my internet work today. And then the craziness begins again once I am home in Ipoh. It will be an extended weekend, which means I have more work coming my way. Yahoo? Not sure. If only I get paid higher!

If you have dealt with roaches before, you would know how stubborn they could be! I am lucky that I never had that problem before but I had ant problems once, and that was not easy too! Holding Two Jobs

I am back to holding two jobs.... two freelance jobs which means that I can do if I want to, and I can leave the jobs aside, if I don't feel like doing. I like this arrangement, except that i would be happier if I can earn more. I am someone who is thankful with whatever that comes my way, but that doesn't mean I don't strive for more, right?

And with two freelance jobs, I still have plenty of time on my hands. Maybe I should look for yet another freelance position? HHmm I don't mind the free time if my remuneration is higher! LOL! Best is if I did not have to work at all!

Getting Ready For Christmas

Yes, I know it's still early days before Christmas but which me running all over town because of my work, it's better for me to start getting the house ready for Christmas as and when I have some free time at home.

Actually, I had forgotten that it's already November, and there's less than two months to Christmas, until a friend gave me a couple of christmas themed doormats. That certainly made me check my calendar!

While I will not cart out my Christmas tree yet, because it will only collect dust, I will start cleaning the house next week. My mom's health isn't that good anymore and I can't afford to pay a cleaner to do it this year. So must start early to make sure I have the entire house cleaned by Christmas!

Free & Easy

It's free and easy day today as I am just staying at home to play catch up on work and bill paying. The bad thing is that I woke up with an awful stomach ache and have been going in and out of the toilet since this morning!

Maybe I should be thankful that I do not have to go anywhere today so even though I am suffering from stomach upset, the toilet is just a few steps away from me. Imagine if I had to keep looking for the toilet when I am outside! LOL

Anyway, I better do everything that I have to do today before the craziness begins again soon!
