Dream Diary - 06

You know how I've only managed three hours of sleep every night since three or four months ago? Well, last night, I managed four hours. And.... I had a nightmare. Usually for a three-hour sleep, I don't get any dreams at all. My friend has remarked that "Damn dreams also not here yet!" which is true. If not mistaken, most vivid dreams only come to us in the 4th to 5th hour of continuous sleep.

Last night, I dreamt that my OTHER monkey went into fits. I tell you, that really freaked me out.

All along, I know that it MAY be dangerous to my OTHER monkey to keep them both together. One has been suffering from seizures since nine months ago, and we don't know if it could be contagious or not.

It is a fear that I have been carrying with me all these years, the fear that keeping them together may harm my OTHER monkey, but what can I do? They are brothers and have been together all their lives.

I don't have the heart to separate them even if there are takers for the sickly monkey. This is where most people do not understand me. They don't get how I can devote myself to "just an animal". A friend commented that to understand me, one must understand my monkeys. Well, they must know that my monkeys come first, no matter what.

So in the nightmare, I was crying so hard. My poor monkey was in seizure and he was so pathetic looking I thought I would lose him.

Recently, this monkey has me so stressed. He's not in the best of health. Maybe that bout of stressed triggered this nightmare. I don't know. I hope this is only what it is: a nightmare.

Dream Diary - 05 ~ Another Night, Another Nightmare

Went to bed at 2.30am and was startled by a fierce dream by 3am. Not the ghostly type, or the violent type, just damn scary, so real that I thought it was really happening. Thank God I woke up and realised it's just a dream after all.

No doubt, something like that in my nightmare could happen for real, but I don't want to ever face that kinda situation. I dare not write about it in case it happens to the person close to me. I don't think I can handle it.

Needless to say, the rest of the night, or shall I say morning, was lousy. Hardly slept at all. And then I spent the better part of the day praying and hoping that my nightmare was just that ... a nightmare, and nothing more.

Dream Diary - 04 ~ Another Disturbing Dream

Parts of it are still fresh in my mind, some are too vague to recall.

One part, I dreamt of a black dog, who was fine one minute and then suddenly, all the fur started to turn white, like instantly growing old before my eyes, and then it became so weak and couldn't even stand up.

And then in my heart, I knew that it was going to die soon. I was distraught and started to cry.

On the second part, I dreamt that I was with a guy, I was supposed to marry this guy so I think he was my boyfriend (in the dream).

Anyway, suddenly, a Siamese Buddhist monk was cruising the roads in an old Mercedes Benz, with a Buddha idol on a long stick, and this stick was poking out from the sunroof of the car.

And, it seemed that this monk was searching for my boyfriend, and so my boyfriend ran, and I had to run along as well, to hide.

We ran and ran, up and down many stairs, and it was a scary feeling as if someone was chasing us to kill us.

Then we came to our hideout, which was a small room somewhere in a building, which I did not recognise. I don't really know if it was a room upstairs or if it was underground. The stairs seemed endlessly up and down.

And then I woke up.

The werid thing is that, a few days ago, a Siamese monk, who really drives a Mercedes Benz, has moved into a house near mine.

Maybe my mind mixed up real life with dream world.

Dream Diary - 03 ~ Shit! Why Suddenly Dream of Her Wan?

After blogging about this "no touch" vet yesterday, and I thought I could kill whatever devil in me by blogging about it, I suddenly dreamt of her.

In the dream, she was walking past my house, seems like she's one of the neighbours, but in real life, she lives in some posh area (BAH!) and then she saw my "little monkey" and told me, "Although he's already 12 ah, he still looks so healthy. Not yellowish (she suspected jaundice too!)."

And then, in the dream, somehow my dad asked her if she had lunch already yet. And she replied, "Not yet. Lunch on you..."

Geeee even in dream, she's so money-minded! Really beh tahan.

Dream Diary - 02

I was peeping out from the window of my room, looking out to my compound. There was a group of young dogs and chickens looking for food and I thought to myself, "Wah, dogs and chickens can live harmoniously."

Then in came a pack of dogs, ferocious looking ones. In my dream, my compound wasn't fenced up.

Then a bad dog cornered the group of dogs and chickens. Bad dog tried to hump one of the young dogs, but didn't manage to do it, just the humping action. Maybe because of all the friction, the doggie victim was on fire!

The fiery doggie tried to run away. But suddenly he is not a dog anymore but a horse! And the predator (the bad dog) turned into a tiger!

The horse, still on fire, couldn't run far. His back legs buckled and he fell. The tiger gave a loud roar and feasted on the horse. The horse's legs were trashing on the wet ground and droplets of muddy water splashed onto my face.

I was crying and tried to tilt the shutters and drew the curtains trying to fend off the muddy drops of water.

Then somehow the rest of the good pack of animals made their way to the opposite house.

A lady was not sure if she should open the door for the animals or not, so I screamed from my room, "Let them in! Let them in!"

The lady then opened the door for all the good doggies and chickens and then I woke up.

Dream Diary - 01

When I was contemplating setting up a blog, a couple of friends (bloggers themselves), discouraged me saying that I will have nothing to write about (and even if I did, no one will read because it will not be interesting and there will be no eye candy to oogle at) and being goody two shoes, I have no gossip to share, no confession to make, am too shy to camwhore, plus I am an "indoor princess".

As you can see, I started one anyway. I can always blog on my dreams nightmares.

Today, I will attempt to blog on last night's nightmare. It has got to be the most gruesome one but it didn't startle me from my sleep, like some other dreams nightmares I had before.

I woke up when my dad started his car. Spoilt my dream nightmare. BAH

It started off like any ordinary dream......

I was with a group of people I know (I don't know them IRL), and we were in the General Post Office, but we weren't sending out mail or whatever. There was a book exhibition and we bought some books.

After that, we walked out to nearby shops for makan. The dream was vivid. We even had to look out for cars when we crossed the road.

After food, on the way back to the GPO, where our car was parked, we saw a group of people loitering about, talking about a person being slashed.

We didn't really stop to listen, as we wanted to go home. As we reached the compound of GPO, we saw two bodies lying there, blood was splattered everywhere.

I saw a really long black thing that looked like a rope, but in fact, it was a rope of braided hair and somehow, in the dream, I realised that one of the victims was a Punjabi lady, whose hair had been cut off too.

When the police (?) / forensic (?) staff were using Chinese charcoal thongs (strange instrument to use here, no?
) to turn the body, I saw that her arm was cut off from the shoulder. Yea, it was gruesome but I didn't puke like I normally would, IRL.

Then I was in the car on the way home. And I was asking the others, "Did the murder yesterday make it into the papers?" I also wondered if this murder will be in the papers or not.

And my dream nightmare stopped here ............

After having so many dreams, funny ones and scary ones, I have stopped analysing them but if you wish to interprete my dream, feel free to drop a comment.

Also, if you know of a way that I can lessen my nightmares, do drop a comment too. The Malay belief of washing the feet before bed has no effect at all.
