Free Bon Jovi Concert In Central Park on 12th July, 2008

Oh my God! I so want to be in New York right now! OK, not right now, but at least at 8pm on 12th July, 2008, where Bon Jovi will be giving a free concert in Central Park, New York. God, why do they have all the best things??

I have been a Bon Jovi fan for a long time now. How many years? 15? 20? I have lost track. I also have almost all their tracks. I say almost because I don't have their Christmas songs. LOL I love rock, not Christmas carols!

Many people are asking if this Bon Jovi concert is really free. Yes, totally free. However, only those with tickets will be allowed into Central Park but then these tickets are being distributed free. I can just imagine people queuing up for the tickets much like how they queued up to BUY an Apple iPhone. Heck, I would queue up too if I were in New York.

For more information on how you can get your hands on free Bon Jovi Central Park concert tickets, visit the official Bon Jovi blog.

I want to get my hands on a FREE Bon Jovi Central Park concert tickets. Paul, where are you???

Bon Jovi Site Updated

If you are as big a Bon Jovi fan as I am, you would probably want to know that Bon Jovi has their official site revamped recently and they included their latest music video "Lost Highway".

To be frank, as a Bon Jovi fan since their early big hairdo days, I still prefer their old albums. I don't know why. My friend, also a Bon Jovi fan, told me to listen to the newer songs more times to them a chance to grow on me which I did but I don't feel the kind of emotion I do listening to Bad Medicine, You Give Love A Bad Name, Blaze of Glory and Living On A Prayer (my all time favourite).

I'm not saying that the new songs are crap and in fact, I rather enjoy their "I Love This Town" in a fun way but they don't do to me what the old ones do. And they looked good even with their big hair :-)

Bon Jovi's official website is at: BonJovi.com (what else???)

MiJovi ItsMiLife

As you know, I am a pretty big fan of Bon Jovi and when I am free, I search out news of the man and the band. This piece of news really made me laugh. It is up to you to decide if the soft drink manufacturer really was inspired by Bon Jovi or was it just a tribute to his girlfriend.

I say, if the drink was just MiJovi, then sure, he could argue his case, but ItsMiLife? Who is he trying to kid? LOL

Bon Jovi said that fans could have mistaken that this is a band merchandise and I think young star-struck fans (if they STILL have them) would make this mistake. Older fans, I don't think they will care about MiJovi. Just bring on the (rock) music!

If Bon Jovi is taking pains to stop this soft drink manufacturer to stop production of MiJovi, I wonder why he isn't doing anything about "Bon Jovi's" MySpace page.

Bon Jovi's Lost Highway Out Now

Actually already on sale a few days ago :-)

In this album, Bon Jovi returns to Rock. We were all afraid that they would turn into a Country & Western band but Jon Bon Jovi denied it and luckily for their legion of fans too.

While I have only the chance to preview the first single from the album, Lost Highway, I m not sure how the rest of the songs sound like. The first song, though is rock, to me, still lacks the oomph that was found in the Slippery When Wet album. That was magic.

I wonder if the albums have already reached record stores here. I haven;t been out shopping at all for one month already, or is it more? Things are always slow to reach our shores, unfortunately, and I don't trust buying music online.
