The other day I wrote about the disconnection issues that I have been facing since replacing my ADSL modem after being struck by lightning. Well, the damn internet connection keeps breaking off even though the power was still on. After almost a week, I could not stand it any longer and went to the shop to exchange it.
The shop said they need a day to test but I was unwilling to give them even that. Although I could still connect to the internet because I have a modem at home, I would not have wireless because I already killed the one that my friend gave me by buying an incompatible adapter and the one that I was using has been sent in for warranty.
So, the guy said that he would give me a new adapter and see how things are. I went home, plugged in and after a while, the same thing happened. The guy said that he needs to test the modem but after a while, he decided that it would be better to exchange another unit for me even though the modem did not disconnect when he was testing it in his shop.
So now I have a new ADSL modem with wireless G router and a new adapter. I used a little while and the same thing happened! Now I am checking the cables.... maybe they are the culprit. GGgrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
