My friend told me about the 1Malaysia Lantern Festival 2010 that will be held at Central Market (KL) later this evening. I was like, "Huh?" As far as I know, it will be held on 21st Sept, 2010 at Wisma MCA and it is organized by Federal Territory MCA, Wisma MCA Sdn Bhd, MCA HQ Staff Sports Club and sponsored by Magnum 4D Bhd.
The highlight of the event that night, which will start at 7.30pm, is a giant mooncake measuring 0.9m-tall and 1.2m-wide and worth RM3500 that could feed 1,200 people! If I live in KL, I would surely make my way there. Yes, I am such a busybody, aren't I?
Oh well, I wouldn't be able to make it to either one. I'll check if there is a similar event in Ipoh. I'd love to go and get some photos.
