My friend asked me if I have done any Chinese New Year shopping yet, telling me that she has already bought three handbags and a pair of shoes. Hhhmmm made me wonder why she needs three new handbags for.

Frankly, I am just trying to recover financially from the damage done with Christmas shopping and I have no stamina to start thinking of Chinese New Year shopping yet. At least not for another two weeks!

Truth be told, I never bothered with shopping for myself for Chinese New Year. It has always been this way for the longest time. As long as I have the household in order, I am happy already. I just try my best to keep expenses low and yet give some face to my parents and not force them to give out RM2 angpows. Sigh...nobody wants them anymore even though it's still money! Gggrrrrrrrrrr!!!
