I had a chat with a friend over lunch a couple of days ago. He knows that I am an animal lover so that makes a good conversation piece even though he is not. I told him that my pet dog is already in his 15th year now and that after this, I no longer want to keep any pets. My friend says that I shouldn't feel disheartened with sick pets and that I should be happy that Snoopy is still fairly healthy.

The truth is I have always had difficulty in getting hold of a local vet that I could trust and veterinary supplies are also difficult to come by. Those that are here are expensive because they are all imported from overseas.

My sister told me that in the United States, if you have a prescription from a vet, you would be able to purchase medication and supplement from companies like Rood and Riddle Veterinary Pharmacy. Their products are not commercially available, you see, but buying these products is still a breeze as long as we have a prescription.
