When I was in high school, I had a pen-pal from Switzerland who loved telling me about the ski holidays she took with her family and sending me amazing photos of mountains covered with snow. Of course, I could not make out the difference between mountains but I was very impressed and dreamed of going on a ski vacation myself. This is just the website to check out if you are heading for the mountains, whether you are skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, etc. or just going for a refreshing mountain retreat.

Via Snow List, you would be able to check for various mountain accommodations, from real estate for sale to vacation rentals. It does not matter the tenure you are looking to rent because there will always be something that would meet your needs, with listing based on ski areas as well as distance to ski lifts and ski bus stops. Members of the community could even list the real estate that they are looking for as well.

For people who are there for just a short break, they could even find Free winter gear from the classifieds on Snow List which is a free feature on the website. What I like is the section which allows members to look for skiing partners, mountain events or groups to join. I think that new friends during a holiday make the vacation more memorable.
