I live in an old neighborhood. I think it is at least fifty years old. While my parents’ home has undergone renovation twice since they moved in in the early 1970s, there are some homes here which have never been renovated before.
The other day, I was totally grossed out when a neighbor hired a contractor to do a little maintenance work. it seems that some parts of the wooden structure of his house has been infested with termites. And this has been going on for a few years now. How could this man continue to live in the infest house, I do not know! If he had told us about it, we could have connected him with a friend who is in the termite and pest control business. While he would not be able to offer free services, at least his is a reputable pest control company and would charge cheaper.
This morning, I was on the web looking for information on termites and other household pests. I realize that these don't affect only our homes. They even infest commercial buildings!
