I am a little bemused that the second top guy said that people are unappreciative of the fuel rebates. I want to ask, what rebate? Like mentioned, as a diesel vehicle owner, comparatively the price of diesel rose as much as the price of petrol yet the price of petrol was reduced more than the price of diesel.
Moreover, most private diesel vehicle owners do not, and I mean DO NOT, qualify for the RM625 fuel rebate announced in June. This is simply for the fact that diesel vehicles are easily above 2000cc. And it is because these vehicles are above 2000cc that manufacturers made them diesel powered because it is supposed to be more economical. Get it?
If these high powered people are sincere in reducing our economical burden, then why are they enjoying all the FREE perks just because they are in PUBLIC office using tax payer's money?
Talking about the fuel rebates make my blood boil because I definitely do not see it. I know because everything is coming out of MY pocket. The road tax is still bloody high. Scrap it or scrap toll. It’s your choice.
