Some of you may remember that I quit playing my favorite MMORP when they started charging us. Why should I have to pay when I can play other games for free, right?
I asked around to see what my friends are currently playing and I was told of the rather new multiplayer online games portal at Itch.com. I found the name kind of funny for a games site BUT there's no harm checking it out.
What makes Itch.com, a massively multiplayer browser based games, different is that these games are all browser based and there is nothing to download at all which is a plus point to me. Just bookmark the URL and go from there!
Itch.com offer many different genres of games like strategy war games which is NOT my kind of game but there's no worry, they also have plenty of other games to play. For your information, at the point of writing this post, there are 3,948 active players on a strategy war game called Oil Empires.
I noticed that they have a racing game called Race Kings which I will be trying out soon. I am suddenly interested in car racing, albeit only online, after watching Initial D. last night. Ya, I know it is an old movie but I've kept the movie all these while and did not have the chance to watch it. If you watched Initial D. as well, perhaps you can try out some of the drifting tricks on Race Kings too!
