A month ago, Malaysians were reeling from the Chua Soi Lek sex scandal. Now, the whole Chinese community who follow the Hong Kong entertainment scene would be talking non-stop about the Edison Chen, Gillian Chung Yun-Tung, Cecilia Cheung Pak Chi & Bobo Chan Man Woon sex video. So far, stills from the video have already been posted on the internet and the perpetrator says that he would be releasing the video soon so that there would no longer be any denial. Oh, what a Chinese New Year gift.
Sometimes I wonder why people never learn. Sure, they may make amateur sex videos for their own viewing pleasure but can you trust participating actors and actresses not to leak out the video or photos to third parties? For money, anyone would do something like that. The bottom line is, the only person we can trust is our self.
Why would somebody take videos of themselves having sex, I don’t know. It is as if Paris Hilton, Colin Farrel and Tammy NYP never happened. The thing is, if you're a nobody, you can do it, because no one cares. I take photos of my wife and I and even video. We sometimes share it with others...
But the thing is... no one cares. With the amount of porn you find on the internet these days no one would notice.
Celebrities (or anyone planning on becoming a celebrity), on the other hand, should know that their careers are at risk, or in the case of Edison Chen, his life (there's no way "Uncle Yeung" won't kill him for this). They need to treat incriminating photos of themselves like they are proof they murdered someone. For you and I? Meh.
