According to my sister, America is such a large country that traveling from state to state seems like traveling from country to country. The land mass is just too huge. She said that many of her friends have trouble moving their personal effects cross country when they have to move due to work or other reasons. It's especially difficult for large items and if their destination is too far away. It's not like in Malaysia where the country is small and we could pack everything into our car and drive to our new home.
Luckily though, my sister says that America has EVERYTHING!
