My friend, Douglas, who lives in London, introduced me to a fairly new community site called Trusted Places where members participate in the site to share and recommend their new discoveries of eating and shopping places with other members through well written reviews.
Douglas told me that it is through Trusted Places tat he got to know of a London bar. He said that it is rather odd that despite having lived in London for years now and supposedly know the city like the back of his hand, he was surprised that he discovered something new through his participation on Trusted Places.
Douglas said that member on Trusted Places are warm and friendly and he predicts that he would soon be brave enough to meet up with some nearby folks, people whom he has known through Trusted Places.
Trusted Places currently serves some of the major cities in the world, including London, Paris, New York and Duesseldorf. I am looking forward to the day when Kuala Lumpur is included as well!
