My friend Niencke is so funny. You may remember her from one of my earlier posts. She is a Dutch girl, by the way. The other day, she told me that she got so stressed from work and relationship problems that she decided to take a weekend break by checking into one of the Amsterdam hotels. Well, the funny part is that she LIVES in Amsterdam!

Niencke told me that I should try getting away within my city and check into a local hotel like what she did. Even though she is a local girl, staying at the Park Plaza, she suddenly looked upon her hometown from a different perspective.
