Recently, I was searching for something on one of the many blogs and came across a reader's comment, "I can't believe you wrote that for $5!"
While I know that it is impossible to stop people from leaving unfavourable remarks on our post, it is bad taste of the blogger to publish that comment. Hey, one less comment won't make your blog any less popular, you know?
But that is not the end of the story as this blogger even REPLIED to that comment with, "Anything for money. I have a high maintenance wife."
I feel that is unwarranted and actually make a mockery of the sponsor of that particular post. I mean, if you want to write sponsored post, write it responsibly and make sure that comments are relevant and in topic.
Even for my blogs that do not have that many comments, I do not simply publish all comments that come my way because these comments sometimes tout a competitor's site or product. Of course I am not going to publish that. I am more sensible than that. I don't mind if I have zero comments in such case!
