Paul told me of his friend who had a dental emergency recently. He unfortunately did not have any dental insurance policy and has been putting off going for regular dental check-ups.
Finally, it was too painful for him to bear. Luckily he had the presence of mine to subscribe to a Discount Dental Plan where he could make an appointment with the dentist on the same day and yet save up to 80% on whatever dental procedures that he may need.
Should he have bought an insurance policy that day instead, he would be forced to wait for another 6 months at least before he could enjoy the benefits of the insurance policy. And if he insisted on seeing a dentist on the same day, he would be charged an extra $25.
