My German friend, Markus, goes to Miami often as his grandparents own a home there. Each time he goes over, he will throw parties for his American friends or stay out pub crawling through the night.
His grandmother is so worried about him as they, being young and carefree, are always up to something.
His grandparents who live in Miami throughout the year know that sometimes things can turn nasty with these young Miami boys. One day, his grandmother introduced Markus to a criminal defense attorney and told Markus to carry this attorney's business card in his wallet at all times and to call his number should anything bad happen while he was in Miami.
One day, Markus got into a serious fight and he really did call the lawyer but luckily the lawyer managed to settle this out of court.
But of course, it is better to be safe than sorry!
