You have probably heard of my friend who is a mini hippopotamus. The other day, I met up with him for a drink and was surprised that he is growing larger and larger. However, the good news is that he is going to get a Tampa lap band surgery which he discovered when he went to Disney World in Orlando, Florida for a vacation with his girlfriend. See, so fat also got girlfriend, you know!
He actually knew for a long time that he has a problem but it takes guts to finally admit to it. Moreover, he was afraid to take any drastic measures or people may no longer recognize him! hahaha
And even now that he has already committed himself to the surgery, he is rather worried and reluctant to go through with it. But he has read that lap band surgery is non-invasive and could even be done as an out-patient treatment. He could even return on the same day.
I hope that this works for him finally. Boy, do I know what efforts he has taken and yet failed to slim down.
