I went on a short trip with a mixed group of ten friends this morning to Batu Gajah and Tanjung Tualang. It wasn't planned by me - I just hopped on board. We went in a 15-seater van, and including the driver, there were eleven of us. Can you imagine how tight it was? It was definitely not comfortable at all.
The journey took about an hour one way - we left Ipoh slightly before 8am. By the time we reached home, it was almost 2pm.
I wouldn't say it was a very enjoyable trip but it was definitely an eye-opening one.
If it was left to me, I wouldn't have visited such places but I am glad I went along. This isn't a place that I would revisit, but who knows? Life has its strange ways.
