The Miss Malaysia Model of the World pageant is being held in Ipoh, and the finals will be on 19th Sept, 2010 at Syuen Hotel. Leading up to the night of the finals, the 18 finalists from around the country are attending previews at clubs in the city as a showcase to fans and supporters. I guess this is a good way to garner last minute support from fence sitters.
From what I understand, these events are free, though we may have to pay cover charges but I would like to get some photos for my blog. My friend, though, told me that it would be a waste of time as it would be very dark, smoky, noisy and a lot of shoving and pushing and it would be almost impossible to get a good shot. SIGH... I guess I can forget about it!
