There is no escape from talks of how Teo Beng Hock died, found sprawl at the bottom of the MACC building, whether online or in real life.
There is a lot of speculation on how he died, and since none of us is in the inner circle, we could only make our own conclusions. Everyone has his own theory.
Some said that he was hung out the window upside down to force a "confession" out of him and he slipped. Some thought that he was accidentally killed, and then thrown out the window to make it look like a suicide. Some said that he felt dizzy, stood too close to the window and toppled out.
However, no one believes that this young man took his own life intentionally. Here was a man, who was supposed to be married on 17th July, 2009. I also read that his fiancée is two months pregnant. Well, let's just say that he had so many things going for him, he has no reason to kill himself.
Whether there was any foul play and whatever the circumstances that led to his death, we could only guess. However, as a Buddhist, I do believe that what we do not know, God knows. We could be fooled but God would not. Whoever caused the death of Teo Beng Hock would surely have to pay for it.
