I have been following discussions on the Pulau Ketam castaway dogs on various forums and it actually makes me sick to read that there are people who support the move of marooning the domesticated stray dogs in a mangrove island to fend for themselves, breeding cannibalism. It sickens me to know that there are people so incompassionate as to pray that all these dogs die such a horrible death by starvation.
It's fine that they do not wish to help in ways that they are able to. It's also fine if they don't help to spread the word of the on-going rescue mission both by Furry Friends Farm and the ISPA and SAS. It's also fine if one is indifferent to the whole unfortunate man-made incident. But to actually cheer? What sort of people are these?
And then these people have the nerve to question why there are people making the effort to rescue these dogs when they do not help humankind who are unfortunate or fallen on hard times. Is it any wonder?
