Pulau Ketam Castaway Dogs Need Help

If you have been online reading blogs, forums, Facebook or Twitter or read the papers these past few days, I am sure you would have read, or even heard, of the plight of the Pulau Ketam stray dogs that have been exiled to a mangrove island and left to die of starvation.

Yes, I have been told that this is a "brilliant" idea came up by a committee in Pulau Ketam to solve their stray dog problems. People say that two heads are better than one but in this case, too many heads haven’t done any good at all.

So, off they sent the first shipment of 300 stray dogs to no man's land, where, if you would click on this poster, you would be able to see their plight. I understand that there are still about 2000 stray dogs rounded up from Pulau Ketam waiting to be sent to this uninhabited island where there is no dry land at all. These dogs are in dire straits and you and I can help.

This team of rescuers needs money and volunteers. At the very least, they need us to help them spread this information to as many people as possible. Those who are able to help in cash or kind, volunteer time or skills, please email directly to: dogrescue.pk@gmail.com

Thank you very much!
