While waiting for the release of The Gem of Life ep. 37 last night, I was searching for the English song that is used in the promotion of the Gem of Life on Astro. You know, the promotional video where the cast of The Gem of Life appears to be in photo frames.
My friend told me that it sounds like an old English song called entitled, "You Want To Take Me Home". I did a search online but can't even find this song. LOL Is it that old??? Or is it that unknown??
If you could recongnise this song, could you please drop me a comment? I seem to remember that there is a website where we could search for the song title and name of artist by just typing in the lyrics, or part of it but I can't remember the web address anymore.

oh, i do hope someone knows. i'm dying to find out too. it was first used in the Astro promo for LA Ink.

i called astro.. they came back with the title of the song Diamonds and Rubies, but unfortunately they dont know who's the singer.

I think the originator of this song has made mistake. I have sourced over the internet using various search engines primarily for music but still could not find this song. But there are only 4 to 5 songs with the title Diamonds and Rubies but they are none of a classical jazz song which Astro is using for promotional purpose.
I suspected it's an old Blue vocal by Natalie Stokes (cica 1901). I dubbed the song and posted on my blog
