Yamantaka Puja & Lama Dance

If you are in Ipoh this weekend, then I am sure you won't want to miss this. The Ipoh Mindrolling Buddhist Association (Persatuan Penganut Ugama Buddha Mindrolling, Ipoh) is organizing Yamantaka Puja & Lama Dance on Saturday and Sunday at Leong Wan Chin Hall, Perak Girls’ School, Jalan Kampar, Ipoh, Perak.

If you are unfamiliar with Jalan Kampar, then do note that this Leong Wan Chin Hall is just before The Store and EconSave shopping complexes. This should be easy to locate.

Particularly interesting would be the Black Hat Dance, also known as Lama Dance, which will be on at 8pm on Sunday, 18th October, 2008 presented by seventeen Lamas and it will be led by Venerable Ugyen Choephel Rinpoche. The aim of the Black Hat Dance is to clear obstacles and collect merits.

For more information on these activities organized by Ipoh Mindrolling Buddhist Association (Persatuan Penganut Ugama Buddha Mindrolling, Ipoh), you can give them a call at 05-2548616, 019-5555811 or 012-5250478. Do note that these activities are only open to non-Muslims.
