On paper, Pak Lah will be stepping down as the Prime Minister of Malaysia sometime in March, 2009. It's pretty exciting to see who will be the next Prime Minister of Malaysia. Again, on paper, it will be Najib but from now till March, 2009, there is still plenty of time where anything could happen.
I believe that to be the Prime Minister or President of a country, no matter the size of that country, and no matter the duration, it's all fated. One is born to rule, or not.
See like in the case of Pak Lah, I think that he never even dreamt of being the Prime Minister of Malaysia because he lacked grassroots support within UMNO itself.
But, became the prime Minister he did, even though it's for a few short years, it is better than some people who reached almost the pinnacle and yet being so near and yet so far. What do you think?
