I read in the papers that children born in Selangor will receive scholarships to further their education. True ah? Is it already implemented? Does anyone have any information on this?
My cousin is anak Selangor, though he lives in Ipoh, and is going to further his tertiary education. Is it stipulated that these scholarship holders have to study in Selangor only or could they study in another state, like Perak, for example?
I wish that there is more information but I can’t seem to find anything, at least not on the web. Do they expect us to call up the State office or something?
I don’t know, I just hope that my cousin gets to benefit a little something from this since his parents are retirees and may not be able to put him through college. Higher education isn't cheap here in Malaysia!

May be you can try call this number : 03-55447450. Earlier I have a post about Good news for the senior citizen from Selangor. They gave this as contact no.
Hi Molly,
Thanks for the number. I will pass it to my cousin and maybe he could find out what's the status of this idea, whether it's already implemented yet.
