I've been reading conflicting reports on the web now that 916 is over. Some people are saying that DSAI is dreaming, some saying that his lying. Some people are disappointed that he did not reveal the names of potential defectors but I tell you, nobody in his right mind would put these people who trusted him, at risk, right?
Don't they know what will happen if these people are revealed? The ACA will come, ISA will come so I think that he did the right thing in keeping his secret list secret.
Malaysiakini just reported that DPM Najib, who just launched his own website One Malaysia today (or was it yesterday), has taken over as Finance Minister with immediate effect. What does this tell us? That Pak Lah is losing grip, assuming that he ever had a good grip on it? Looks like it.
Pak Lah also mentioned that he may leave earlier than his “succession plan” of handing over the premiership in 2010. I thought someone said that he did not feel the pressure. It will be interesting to see who will triumph as the next PM of Malaysia.
