Inevitably, this question ALWAYS crops up!! Just because I am single, everyone at one point or another will wonder if I am lesbo. Why is it that single people always have to suffer this prejudice? Hhmm is it because that people think that singles are not getting sex or that they hate the opposite gender hence they must love their own gender?
Well, let me tell him (and people like him) that being single does not mean that we are homosexuals but a lot of us are single BY choice.
Also, we can't ever win lah! If you are married but choose not to have kids, people will think that you are a child hater. This is happening to my sister. She is not married yet but in a permanent relationship and people are already thinking she hates children.
And if you are married and HAVE children, people will ask you when the next child will arrive. Aiyoh, why can't people mind their own business?
