Some companies I know have already gone paperless. Some though, have not because their clients would not be receptive to the idea. Two of my banks no longer give us a passbook but since they still send us quarterly statements, I am not sure how they can achieve 100% paperless status.
I mentioned before that the company I work for has plans to go paperless. I don't know if I would welcome that because it would mean filing documents in computer drives and making me spend more time facing the computer.
Whatever my preference going paperless is inevitable and I have been assigned the task of searching for a company that provides Document Scanning Service. I don't like the job because I would have to ensure that this company is entirely reliable and will keep our data private and confidential.
I have to look for a company online that offers Document Scanning Service because I can’t find a local one. I wonder if I will be paid OT!
Right now, although I do not want to go paperless, I know that at least storage of data would be a whole lot cheaper than filing and storing paper documents and although I may not like the change, I am sure that I would adapt pretty quickly.
