I received a flyer from a new computer store in my cow town and they are running a promotion during the last weekend of October. They are going to offer a handful of items at low prices every day for three days but there will only be limited units.
I don't like this kind of promotions because it means that I would have to rush to the store early before they open their door,queue crowd around the door before business hours and rush in to grab an item before it runs out.
But they are offering twenty units of LG L196WTQ 19" LCD wide screen monitor for MYR499 only. Normal retail price, according to the flyer, is MYR725.
you know, I have wanted to buy an LCD screen for ages because I face the computer for such long hours that it's putting a strain on my eyesight so I better get something to prevent further deterioration of my eyesight. I heard that LCD screens don't cause eye pain so let's see if it's better for me than my CRT screen, even though I just bought it a year and a half ago and still looks new.
So wish me luck in grabbing one of the units on offer! If I can't get it, I may buy it from another store at regular price but it won't be LG. Perhaps Samsung since I have good experience with Samsung monitors but purchase of electronic products depend on luck.
Or maybe I will wait for PC Fair. It will be sometime in December. I wonder if there is a discount on LCD screens!?!
