What a sad day it is to receive news that Italian tenor Luciano Pavarotti has passed away. I have a good collection of his albums at home because my sister is a great fan of Italian opera and collected music from him and other opera singers diligently.
My sister left for the United States 5.5 years ago and I have possession of them now. Of course, my favourite Italian tenors are Il Divo, but it is still sad to know that we will no longer be entertained by new music from Pavarotti. No longer will he holiday in Pangkor Island Resort.
I guess that no matter how great one is, death is a certainty in life. I feel that we have been blessed to have known his great voice. May he rest in peace.
