My cousin's daughter just received her driver's licence. She is very excited with her new found freedom but her parents were rather worried that she may not be competent enough to handle the car should anything happen on the road.
I told them that they should equip their car with an emergency kit. I have seem many emergency roadside kits for sale and thought that it would be something good to have on hand in the car. One never knows, right?
I also suggested that they should pick up this DVD called Rules of the Road which is a complete interactive Driver's Ed Program. They wondered why she needs it since she has already passed her driver's test. I said that this program would be great for her as this was made especially for teen drivers in mind. Even the instructors are teenagers themselves.
They are happy that at least they could do something to help give them peace of mind while their daughter is on the road.
