There are people on my MSN / Yahoo contact lists who like to announce to the whole world their daily activities by typing a different custom messages every freaking time! I don't know about you, but it irritates the hell out of me, especially if these messages are a few sentences long.
Some of the custom messages are something like these (examples only):
Just returned from Happy Hour @ Bar Blond
I had a whale of a time in Singapore!
Happy Birthday XXX I wish you early in case you are not online on Monday!
Just came back from Flood Relief duties in Johor and met the Sultan
