Since becoming a Bon Jovi fan in the early 1990s after a friend introduced me to their music, I've always wanted to join their official fan club. I even wrote to their fan club and got myself some forms, but I did not register myself, no thanks to the great USD - MYR currency exchange rate, even back then.
As a matter of fact, it was my hobby to write in to celebrity fan clubs. Once, I even wrote to David Copperfield's home address and I received a free autographed poster for that hehe That's one my my prized possessions.
So anyway, I wanted to be an official Bon Jovi fan club member but no matter how I calculated, I was always out of budget.
And I figured, if I only have USD50, and that is used for membership fee (last time, international members have to pay more but it's equal now), I won't have any spare cash to purchase their official merchandise, then join for what?
Now I have some funds in my Paypal and my finger itchy oredi. But I still sayang to part with USD50.
