I had a great laugh after reading today's news item in the Star, "Most porn surfers from Kota Baru and Kuantan".
Is it that surprising? If we take a look at the top ten search terms in Malaysia, I can safely say about eight are Malay words or searches for Malay newspapers. Yes, Malay websites have a large audience locally.
I think the top search term on Google has been Sex all along. Naturally when Malays search for porn, they will use a Malay word too. So in Malaysia, it's SEKS la. There's nothing extraordinary, right?
And for these searches to come from the East Coast is also not surprising. We know how suppressed they are, don't we, what with gender segregation even in supermarket check out lanes.
I'm not saying that having some control over the people is wrong. People are so bad, they can do anything to another people, but I'm saying is that they have rather extreme measures lah.

Haha.. when I read it in the news today, I wonder what would be the reaction of some hardcore politicians out there.. heheh
Yeah, this would freak some people out. There's sure to be some kinda debate in Parliament soon.
