It seems that these women are from China. And they ARE drop dead gorgeous, believe me.
AND they are once again on the prowl.... going to places with lots of human traffic, for example, the local wet market.
What they do is to zoom in on a target then approach target on the pretext of asking for directions, and once target looks directly at them (face or eyes), somehow they manage to pukau (charm) target and then their accomplice, usually a man, will drive over and target (now victim) will automatically follow them in their car and guess where will they send victim to?
To the bank to withdraw money!
This is not a joke.
My own late grandma was one of the victims of a similar modus operandi and she withdrew MYR15,000 in one lump sum for them.
Can you imagine losing MYR15,000 in under an hour? It's worse than losing in Genting, I guess.

What can the police do? There's no way for a victim to even hope to recover the money.
It took my grandma a few hours to recollect herself and to finally manage to let us know what happened to her that morning. By then, the fraudsters had already fleed town.
Targets usually are the following:
1. elderly
2. female
3. looks quite well to do
4. on foot
Therefore, be alert and don't loiter around.
