I read a news report with dismay that the Puduraya bus terminal will be closed for four months beginning from 19th March, 2010 for maintenance work. Dang.... just when I thought I'd travel to KL by express bus on 23rd March and to think that I wasted a reconnaissance trip to KL last month to learn the route from Puduraya to KLCC.
Anyway, I am thinking of taking the train now even though the electric train will only launch next month. Economy class will be cheaper than a ticket on an express bus but the trip will be an hour longer since the train is slower. I thought I would only take the train when the electric train starts its service but I don't have a choice now.
I think it's stupid that the report in the papers about the Puduraya bus terminal closing did not include information on an alternative for bus passengers on where the buses will stop or where people could buy their bus tickets. What, the reporter expects us to mind read?
Luckily I caught the news on TV which says that buses will stop at "Hentian Duta" and passengers can take a shuttle bus to Jalan hang Tuah at RM2. Of course all these don't make sense to me. LOL

hope u had a good time in your travel
I quite agree with u about those news but I did find one with the info : "travellers to the south will have to use the temporary bus depot at Jalan Hang Tuah near the Kuala Lumpur police contingent headquarters while the Duta Terminal would be used for travel to the north" QUOTE this from news my sinchew. Anyone knows Pahang is north or south?
Pahang is supposed to be East, I think but then I think Puduraya is still in operation, isn't it? This closure has been postponed, last I heard.
