My friend, Yvonne, told me that they will be moving again in May and this time, they will be moving into their very own home. They are very excited, of course! Yvonne said that they bought the house finally after much consideration even though it will cause them to be financially strapped for many years to come no thanks to the lengthy mortgage but she could resist the beautiful garden.
Yvonne's family home is a sprawling house with a large garden but having lived in an apartment for the past few years, she missed the greenery. With a garden of decent size now, she plans to start a DIY landscaping project but of course that will have to wait until the family is settled in and everything is unpacked.
I told her about the Massachusetts Landscaping website which she could use for landscaping design inspiration. If I were her though, I would just get professional landscapers in and just enjoy the completed creation without getting my hands dirty! I guess we are aiming for different pleasures in life. Knowing Yvonne, though, I hope this is a garden that she will spend time, money and energy maintaining and not neglect it once she is bored with her pet project.
