My neighbor, whose house is still in the midst of renovation, has already asked contractors to take measurements for built-in cupboards and kitchen cabinets. I understand that he would be importing most of his home furnishings.

I wonder how much the whole house would cost once it is ready for occupation since the cost of the house only is MYR280,000 and renovation cost is MYR200,000. That's not inclusive of installation of water and electricity, electric gate or six units of air-conditioning. And then there would be furniture, lightings, home ware and kitchen ware. I am not sure if they would be replacing their old paella pan which was made in Spain even though it's still in perfect condition.

Anyway, we are invited to their housewarming party which would be some time around Christmas time. I am already scratching my head what to buy them.
