Google started this series on 08.08.08, the day that the Beijing Games opened. They have been following through by using the twelve animals in the Chinese horoscope, or zodiac, if you like, playing various Olympic games.

Today we have the doggie dog rowing. I understand that canoeing/kayaking/rowing is making its debut in the Olympics and that there are various competitions based on the number of rowers per boat and the length of rowing.
The doggie dog's competitor in the logo looks like a rat (or mouse) or maybe even a rabbit with short ears. What do you think?
