I mentioned before that I do not really like social network portals. That is because I don't like to accept friend requests from people I do not know and I do not enjoy browsing through the profiles of member who mostly do not take the trouble to stamp their personality and uniqueness on their public profile.
Having said that, though, I am still a member of quite a number of social portals, thanks to the invitation of friends who insisted that I join them so that we can add each other to our buddy lists. This was how I came across so many generic layouts!
Not too long ago, I came across Webfetti, a toolbar that generates customized layouts, glitter graphics, skins and comes with smileys and backgrounds. I did not spend time to explore it until today when I read pagefetti which says that it is 100% safe and best of all, 100% free to download and use.
Pagefetti has explanations on what Webfetti can do to spruce up any public profile and is compatible with MySpace, Hi5, Blogger and Zwinky. Surprisingly, I have membership with all four sites. Eeekk! And here I thought I hated social networking haha!
And now that I know what Webfetti can do, I am going to spruce all my pages up. Why wait and turn off visitors to my page, right?
