In addition to MAPEX, there is also Home Fair that is held at Hall B, Stadium Indera Mulia. Strangely, this is an even bigger exhibition than the property fair, even though the main event is MAPEX. Well, perhaps furniture is cheaper? But then when we have brand names that sound foreign and hard to pronounce, do you think the prices are friendly? I don't think so. These are export designs, after all.
Home Fair reminds me of Homex 2011. In fact, I could recognise many of the exhibitors. However, in this short span of half a year, they have come out with totally new designs and concepts. Furnishing a home these days is totally unlike the time of my parents where they would furnish once and hope the furniture will last a lifetime. LOL
