I read NST today where this guy lost RM60,000 to a conman medium who promised that he would be able to give him 4D which would come out in first prize.
Actually, I have been receiving such fliers at my home for the past few years already which all became my scrap paper (hehe) and although I know that this is a scam, I don't know how these scammers operate.
Reading this guys account of how he lost RM60000, I now understand their modus operandi. The bottom line is that we lose money like this all because of greed. I know that this victim said that he needs more money to build a temple or something like that but he should know that fast money never work.
Scammers like these cannibalize on human greed by promising us something better than what we already have and many fall victim to schemes like these without learning from the mistakes of others. Hope that more victims would come forward to share their unfortunate stories so that we get lessons from their mistakes.
