Wow, Kris Allen won American Idol Season 8 by winning the hearts of voters with his rendition of Kayne West's "Heartless". Some people said that he sang Heartless even better than Kayne West himself! Well, I don't know about that but I do know that he stole Adam Lambert's thunder.
But I do concede that it's kind of weird to see Adam Lambert and his glam style, plus doesn't he remind one of Freddie Mercury or something? I wonder if this style was natural or if he purposely fashioned himself after the late Freddie Mercury, an icon in his own right.
The fact that Kris Allen is a married man even though he's only 23 years old, and still gets to win American Idol, despite his marital status, shows us that idol is now a term used pretty loosely!
