I was going through an old celebrity blog of mine and stumbled upon this post on David Duchovny's sex addiction. My, that was seven months ago! I wonder how his rehabilitation went.
I think that while we may joke about being addicted to things, like I will joke that I am addicted to the internet and dramas, people who are addicted to sex would never admit to it. Like in the case of David Duchovny, rumors were already swirling around ten years ago but he kept denying it. I think that if help is readily available for people who are addicted to pornography or sex, then they don't have to "admit" to anything, do they?
XXXchurch is a Christian organization with an online community that reaches out to people who may be affected by porn, on both sides of the industry. Not only do they provide counseling online, they also visit community places around the world to bring awareness, openness and accountability to these people.
