Although I have been a Celcom postpaid subscriber for a long time now, switching from prepaid, I think about three years ago, I just noticed a few months ago that Celcom gives free calls on Sundays. Now, I don't actually know how this free minutes is calculated but I know that I never enjoyed it.
I am subscribe to Celcom's C250 package and every month, I don't even use more than 250 minutes of call time unless I make it a point to "boil phone porridge" nightly with a couple of friends. Otherwise, I feel like I am wasting good money for paying for the talk time that I don't even use. With all the excess minutes monthly, that's why I don't get to enjoy the free calls from Celcom.
I wish, though, that Celcom would not force that 250 minutes on us. It's fine if they want to charge us RM50 monthly but let us use that on our calls AND text messages. I must be dreaming but I seriously think that's what they should do if they do not want to lose even more subscribers.
