As my parents advance in age, I am becoming more concerned about their health. Both of them have different ailments. This means that they are in and out of the clinic at different times of the month. I read about concierge medicine earlier this morning and I thought that if this was available at a cheaper subscription price, it would be worth it, especially for senior patients with multiple illnesses or patients with critical illness that may require emergency medical attention.

Concierge medicine is actually a service where a doctor plans his schedule according to his patients' needs and not the other way round. I am sure most of us are familiar with the notoriously long wait just to see a doctor. With concierge medicine, physicians are readily available because they are only dedicated to a small pool of patients, hence the high cost.
