Thanksgiving is just two weeks away. I told my sister that I would like to show appreciation to some people who have helped me tremendously over the past two years but I don't know what to get for them.

A friend suggested that I order gift baskets locally and send them over to the United States but that's highly impractical. From what I understand, we are not supposed to ship food out of the country too! I told my friend that with the melamine scare, I am not sure the recipients would dare to consume food from Malaysia.

My sister told me to buy cookies but I don't know, I really would like to be different. I would like my gifts to stand out so that they will always associate the gift to ME. Anyone have any ideas that are not too expensive?
